Lagan Lagi - Tere Naam (2003)

Posted by Nerdyy

Forget the ridiculous hair style, forget Salman Khans antics, forget the cheerleaders with pompons - just close your eyes and listen to Sukhwinder :D

aankhen tere dars ko tarse
yaad mein teri naina barse
honthon pe hai naam tera
saanson mein hai naam tera

lagan lagan lagan lagan lag gayi hai
tumse meri lagan lagi :D

Didi Tera Devar Deewana - Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994)

This song a minute movie was a big big hit, although I found the movie extremely boring - however Madhuri was the saving grace (for me) .. and yes Salman is there too :D

8 footnotes:

Dekha Hai Pehli Baar - Saajan (1991)

Posted by Nerdyy

Well at least there's Madhuri to look at :D - this superhit song inspired the theater patrons of the particular movie theater that I had gone to see this movie in to get up from their seats and start dancing in the aisles :D ... and this in normally uninterested Delhi, where silver jubilee (25 weeks) runs for movies are very very rare.

Today's group of posts is dedicated to my friends (yes the fairer sex - not you shagird bhaiyya) who for some unimaginable reasons find Salman Khan drool worthy :D I have plenty of kleenex so drool away my wonderful friends :P

This is Salmans first big movie - and this song is a mix of Europe's Final Countdown and the theme music of the Ryan O Neal and ALi McGraw tearjerker Love Story.

Recapping The Day

Posted by Nerdyy

Well that was a day full of interesting experiences - I had to go downtown for a conference, so I decided to hop on the train for a change rather than my car - its just a hassle parking downtown. The Chicago trains in the city are called the "L" for elevated because a lot of them are on elevated tracks. There is also the suburban commuter train the Metra - but I was taking the L specifically the Red Line. I spent my time people watching rather than listening to (or dancing to) music - just because it was something different that I dont get to do everyday. There was also a dinner at the Federal Reserve Bank that I had to go to - so I took this interesting picture of the money dome in the Fed - it's a million dollars in 20 dollar bills :D

On the way back just to give myself some diverse experience I took the bus back instead of the train. It was a different people watching experience as I got to watch all the activity taking place on a gorgeous Spring evening - people getting home from work, couples taking romantic strolls, fat big bellied people coming out of a steakhouse feeling like they are on top of the world after consuming a pound of beef :P .... and the bars were packed because tonight was Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals Blackhawks versus Red Wings at the United Center, Chicago.

How fitting that the last Western Conference Playoff game ever between these two bitter rivals and members of the original six (Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins and New York Rangers are the other four) turned into an absolute barn burner. Next year the Red Wings move to the Eastern Conference, so the only way these two teams can meet in the playoff is in the Stanley Cup Finals. Chicago scored in the 2nd period, Detroit equalized at the start of the 3rd, Chicago scored what would have been the game winner in the last minute of the game only to have it nullified because of offsetting penalties (:blink). Overtime it was and the first goal wins - 3:35 into the first overtime Chicago scored the sudden death goal :D. Next up for the Blackhawks - the LA Kings. To summarize the feelings of every Chicagoan for the hated Detroit Red Wings

NA NA NA NA
NA NA NA NA
HEY HEY HEY
GOODBYE

All in all a very interesting day capped off by an incredible playoff hockey game :D

Mere Jeevan Saathi - Ek Duuje Ke Liye (1981)

Both the songs I'm posting tonight have two interesting similarities - they both contain a list of Hindi movies - this one more than the other (the entire song here is names of movies), and they are both sung by S. P. Balasubramanyam.

tum samajhta main hindi kavita nehin jaanta :P

Aaj Main Upar - Khamoshi (1996)

Posted by Nerdyy

A great uplifting song, Kumar Sanu (a Kishore Kumar clone) and Kavita Krishnamurthy do a great job singing, Jatin-Lalit's music is fabulous and the lyrics by Majrooh are magical - the song just makes you wanna dance :D

aaj main upar aasman neeche aaj main aage zamana ha peeche
tell me oh khuda ab main kya karoon chaloon seedhi ke ulti chaloon

jhoome jaa mauj mein rukna na jaan-e-jaan
dekhoon yeh tarang rukti hai kahan
main bhi tere sang in lehron mein chaloon

Sports Update

Posted by Nerdyy

Time for one of these again. Lots has happened since the last update most notably the hockey playoffs have almost reached the Conference Final stage. The Blackhawks and the Red Wings have been tussling back and forth in a see saw series that had Detroit at one point leading 3-1 - well the Blackhawks won the next two games (including a crazy game that ended just a few minutes ago) and so we are tied 3-3. Game 7 is on Wednesday in Chicago :D - WE WILL WE WILL ROCK YOU

In the other Western Conference semi final the reigning Stanley Cup champions LA Kings are tied with the San Jose Sharks 3-3 in their best of 7 series with Game 7 tomorrow. By contrast the Eastern Conference semis were kinda anticlimactic - Boston Bruins thrashed the New York Rangers and the Pittsburgh Penguins thrashed the Ottawa Senators.

In other sports news, Bayern Munich won the Champions League beating Borussia Dortmund in the final 2-1, with former renowned choker Arjen Robben (finally) redeeming himself by scoring the game winner in the 89th minute of the game.

And in the scandal marred Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket tournament, the Mumbai Indians thrashed the Chennai Super Kings in the championship game.

That's it for now :D

Cheers :D

Posted by Nerdyy

What better way to end the long weekend than sitting on the back deck sipping a gin n tonic (made with a home grown meyer lemon no less) and listening to birds chirping and the rustle of the wind through the new leaves :D. In the background is one of my tomato plants - this one is an heirloom Cherokee Purple - the plant will grow to approximately thrice the size it's at now, and produce about one pound sized dark reddish fruit that is absolutely delicious :D

Happy Memorial Day

Posted by Nerdyy

Happy Memorial Day - celebrated in the United States to honor all the fallen soldiers. The day is marked by memorial parades all over the country; and is also the unofficial start of Summer - yipdee doo for that :D. People are out and about - either grilling their burgers and hot dogs or any other combination of meats and veggies, or they are out enjoying the holiday at a restaurant or bar. It is also a big shopping day - although the crowds and the cleaned out shelves dont really make for a great experience.

Back to work tomorrow after the long weekend :D

My Name is Lakhan - Ram Lakhan (1989)

Posted by Nerdyy

How many percussion instruments have been used here :O This very very popular song of its times is very classic Laxmikant Pyarelal with the use of so many different instruments, and the very catchy tune make it a song you want to just dance to :D

2 footnotes:

Ek Do Teen - Tezaab (1988)

Posted by Nerdyy

While the Alka Yagnik sung Madhuri dance song was more western orchestration based, this Amit Kumar sung and Anil Kapoor jumping around song was more tapori based and the beat is more percussion based.

2 footnotes:

Jeele Le Jeele Le Aayo Aayo - Tarzan (1986)

Posted by Nerdyy

Yes - they made a Tarzan movie in Bollywood - and the movie was kinda bad but it had two pretty good songs - a love song called Tarzan My Tarzan :D and this really energetic percussion based song. This was one of the better efforts from Bappi Lahiri.

0 footnotes:

Laila O Laila - Qurbani (1980)

Posted by Nerdyy

Back to percussion based songs - this big big hot from the movie Qurbani had a memorable percussion introduction. It brings back a lot of memories of school for me - we used to play the introductory beat on the teachers desk during lunch break :D - no we didn't break the desk :P. And of course as impressionable pre-teens Zeenat Aman and her curves only enhanced the popularity of the song with us :P

1 footnotes:

Main Hoon Prem Rogi - Prem Rog (1982)

Posted by Nerdyy

One of my favorite Raj Kapoor movies - and voted as one of the most romantic movies made in Bollywood. This song has all kinds of percussion intruments - particularly notable is the use of the dhaak (as it is called in Bengal) - interestingly the dhaak in this song is played by Aadesh Srivastava - I found out about this while watching some song competition program on you tube where Aadesh was the judge and was talking about this - and also played the dhaak on stage :D

3 footnotes:

Dhak Dhak Se Dharakna - Aasha (1980)

Another song heavy on percussion although less than the previous one. A very nice song also :D

Ramji Ki Nikli Sawari - Sargam (1979)

Posted by Nerdyy

The three songs posted in this edition are about percussion instruments. There is something remarkably sexy about a well composed percussion beat - maybe it has something to do with the similarity that it shares with our own hearts beating :D. And talking about the use of percussion in Hindi movie songs no one really does it better than Laxmikant Pyarelal - the background beat of the tabla is really their signature. This song is a Sargam classic :D

Forget the awkward reformatting of the screen - just close your eyes and listen to the song - you will be transported into a magical world :D

Uthe Sab Ke Kadam - Baaton Baaton Mein (1979)

Posted by Nerdyy

After a long day today driving back home I was listening to this song - and I kept getting reminded about why I had started posting these types of songs on the blog - it makes me dance in the car :D. The music is by Rajesh Roshan (and yes if the name seems familiar - he is Hritik Roshan's uncle, for those familiar with old time music directors he is the son of Roshan)

2 footnotes:

Yeh Larka Hai Allah - Hum Kissise Kum Nehin (1977)

Posted by Nerdyy

This beautiful composition from one of the greatest musical movies of all time and one of the biggest musical hits of all time. Rafi Asha and R. D. Burman make heavenly magic - forget about the actors :D

bholi ho tum kya jano
ab bhi mujhko pehchano
sapna tumhara main hoon mano ya na mano
dekho nadani se humme na thukrana
nehin to gaate hi rahogi yeh taraana
ke dheere dheere dil bekaraar hota hai
hote hote hote pyar hota hai :P

0 footnotes:

Kehdoon Tumhein - Deewar (1975)

Posted by Nerdyy

One of the greatest movies ever made in Bollywood, there was very little scope in this tense drama for musical interludes. Nevertheless there were two great songs - this one is the livelier and more jhoomna one.

0 footnotes:

Apni to Jaise Taise - Lawaaris (1981)

Posted by Nerdyy

This movie came out at the peak of the Amitabh Bachchan wave of the early 80s and the arrogance is palpable :D The song has a very Amitabh look - shirt unbuttoned all the way down the chest, the gold chain  and (at the 2:20 mark - you can skip the earlier part) the killer dialogues :D

arre beedu apun kutte ki woh dumm hai jo barah baras nali mein daal ke rakho to nali teri ho jayegi apun seedha nehin hoyega :D

*kya dialogue maara guru*

... and this song was also remade for the movie Housefull (as part of the song Aap Ka Kya Hoga - Dhanno)

The third and last Rishi Neetu song for this evening is also a great one - this one sung by Asha and Kishore and composed by R. D. Burman. This is the last Rishi Neetu movie together. The lyrics are very meaningful as is the sound of the percussion instruments :P

jeena kya aji pyar bina
jeevan ke yehi chaar dina
dhan daulat bina chale magar
zindagi na chale yaar bina
mili duniya to mazaa hai ke mile dil bhi
bindiya bhi chamke ho baje payal bhi :D

Barah Baje Ki Suiyon Jaisi - Jhootha Kahin Ka (1979)

One of the greatest romantic pairs of Bollywood - this real life couple always had the sizzling chemistry as well as a very natural fondness for each other that is apparent in every frame that they appear together. Great shararati song :D

barah baje ki suiyon jaise hum dono mil jayen
dekhke humko duniya wale jalte hai jal jayen :P

what a fresh (aka not stale concept) :D

4 footnotes:

Tere Haathon Mein Pehnake Churiyan - Jaani Dushman (1979)

Posted by Nerdyy

This was Bollywood's first werewolf movie, and although the movie was predictably kinda silly, the songs were very very good. This great jhoomna song sung by Rafi and Asha is notable because it doesnt follow the usual structure of mukhra and antra - instead it is verse after verse.

tere haathon mein pehnake chooriyan
ke mauj banjara le gaya
tune dil tak to mera le liya
ke woh kya bechara le gaya :P

Disco Deewane - Non Film Album Disco Deewane (1981)

The first non film song that became very very popular - this album followed up on the immensely successful Nazia Hassan Song in Qurbani - Aap Jaisa Koi.

This song was later also incorporated into the movie Student of the Year - however this is the original album track.

nasheelee hai raat haathon mein haath
nache sitaron ke saath
sundar badan yeh chanchal dahel
nachen gayen saath

humari awaaz mohabbat ka saath
aao saja de yeh raat

Teri Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi - Suhaag (1979)

Posted by Nerdyy

Amitabh and Shashi Kapoor formed one of the best combos with many superhit movies - this is one of them. This song as well as the movie was a big hit - a classic Manmohan Desai blockbuster. A great jhoomna song, with a lot of dholak beats :D - Amitabh and Rekha were as usual fabulous together :D

2 footnotes:

Main Hoon Don - Don (1978)

Posted by Nerdyy

One of Amitabh's best roles, Don is the story of a crime boss who is injured in a shootout with the police, and later dies. This fact is only known to a few of the cops, and one day they chance upon an exact look alike who sings on the streets. This "imposter" is then trained and "rescued" by the original Don's gang, with the intention of catching the gang in action. In my first post I had talked of Kya Hua Tera Wada being the song that hooked me onto hindi songs - this song was the next song that I was completely crazy about :D

And yes - Shah Rukh Khan was a piss poor substitute as Don :P

Jaane Jaan O Meri Jaane Jaan - Sanam Teri Kasam (1982)

Pyar Karnewale - Shaan (1980)

Posted by Nerdyy

Oh this movie :D - billed as the next Sholay it was about 45 minutes too long and the plot got a little bit too complicated for audiences to follow - as a result it wasnt the massive hit that people expected it to be. THe songs though were quite good and became reasonably popular. This one by Asha features one of the last appearances by the famous old time Bollywood comedy star Johnny Walker.(He was also there in the other song Yamma Yamma which also had Helen)

Jhoomo away :D

Le Jayenge Le Jayenge - Chor Machaye Shor (1974)

Posted by Nerdyy

The origin of the name DDLJ :P - a great wedding song. This is Ravindra Jain's first big hit and his music in this movie is very very different from the more middle India rural folk based tunes that he became so well known for.

le jayenge le jayenge dilwale dulhaniya le jayenge
reh jayenge reh jayenge paiswale dekhte reh jayenge

tum ho kali to gulaab hum hai
honton se laga lo to sharaab hum hai

Dekha Na Haye - Bombay To Goa (1972)

Amitabh's first lead role - one might ask why he is behaving like such a goof here :D. Since I have posted more than one car and bike jhoomna song, I thought that it was fitting that a song in a bus also gets a chance to spread its magic :P This is a great song - lyrics are fine but its the composition (R. D. Burman) and Kishore Kumar's singing that are stellar.

Ek Raasta Hai Zindagi - Kaala Paththar (1979)

Posted by Nerdyy

Well in this movie that combined the classic Conrad novel Lord Jim and a real life Indian mining disaster (Chasnala) Amitabh doesnt die - someone else does :P This beautifully written, composed and sung song intersperses the lyrics with a journey on a bike. The whole idea of the song picturization really appeals to me - get on a bike (or car) and make your way through a bunch of places and stop at every little town to flirt with the local gals (dipping in the pond, carrying firewood, riding bikes, jhooming on jhoolas :P) ... what a heavenly idea for a long drive :D

ek raasta hai zindagi jo tham gaye to kuch nahin
yeh kadam kisi mukaam pe jo jamm gaye to kuch nehin :D

Mile Jo Kadi Kadi - Kasme Vaade (1978)

Posted by Nerdyy

In the 70s after the success of Deewar and Sholay, movie makers somehow decided that Amitabh dying in a movie was the path to box office gold. So you had these two movies in 1978 - Don and Kasme Vaade where Amitabh appeared in a dual role - one died in the beginning or midway through the movie only to be followed by a look alike :D

This song is the definition of a jhoomna song :P - sung beautifully by Asha Rafi and Kishore - although I didnt expect Rafi to mispronounce "raahein" at the end :P

mile jo kadi kadi ik zanjeer bane
pyar ke rang bharo zinda tasveer bane
humsafar banke chalo to suhana hai safar
jo akela hi rahe usse na mile dagar :D

And oh yeah I just love the word chitchor :P

aaj se pehle aaj se zyaada

The changing of the guard - Nasir Husain moves from the older music directors O. P Nayyar and Shankar Jaikishan to R. D. Burman giving the latter his first big banner movie. The songs became legendary - rumor has it that Shammi Kapoor wasn't too thrilled with the choice so Nasir Husain made R. D Burman play this song to Shammi Kapoor - and he was hooked.

What a song - Shammi Kapoor and Rafi were a truly unbeatable combination :D

Khaike Paan Banaraswala - Don (1978)

Posted by Nerdyy

The ultimate Amitabh Bachchan song. When I first saw the movie in the theater in the mid 80s, I was quite unaware of the the craziness associated with this song. As soon as the song started the people seated in the cheaper seats (Stalls they were called) suddenly jumped up and started dancing and whistling and throwing coins at the screen and floor LOLLL ... in fact the noise was so much you could barely hear the song.

ik kanya kunwari humri soorat pe mar gayi haye
ik meethi katari humre dil mein utarr gayi
kaisi gori gori woh teekhi teekhi chhori
karke jora jori kar gayi humre dil ki chori
mili chhori to huwa nihaal :D

Rote Huwe Aate Hain Sab - Muqaddar Ka Sikandar (1978)

Guru - kya entrance maara *seetiyan* *taaliyan*

This song is of course the ultimate driving song, even though you can't really stand up on the seat in a car :P

zindagi to bewafa hai ek din thukrayega
maut mehbooba hai apna saath lekar jayega
mar ke jeene ki adaa jo duniya ko sikhlayega
woh muqaddar ka sikandar jaan-e-man kehlayega

Daffliwale Daffli Baja - Sargam (1979)

kya rang chhane laga
aankhon ke raste tu hanste hanste
dil mein samaane laga :D

Mehbooba Mehbooba - Sholay (1975)

So I'm at the 100 post mark and I'm thinking to myself - What can I do for the second 100 posts :D. It struck me that I had been posting intense romantic songs during these first few weeks of this blogs existence. Well I really do love them a lot - but I also love the more jhoomna naachna gaana type song - the songs, as I put it, that make me dance to the beat while I am driving (and invite stares from the inhabitants of other cars). So for the next 100 posts I'm going to concentrate mainly on these somewhat fast type songs - though they are romantic in nature also - which Hindi movie song is not romantic ? Hope all of you love them as much as I do and as much as you've enjoyed the more intense songs, and come and dance with me in my car :P - and yes I'll come back to the intense songs soon :D

No collection of jhoomna naachna songs can start with any other song but this - R. D. Burman, Helen and Sholay - enough said :D (Yes it has been posted on Butterfly :D)

husn-o-ishq ki raahon mein
baahon mein nigahoon mein
dil doobaaaa :D

Is Mod Se Jaate Hai - Aandhi (1975)

Posted by Nerdyy

I suddenly realized this is Post Number 100 - what a journey it has been - mostly fun :P - April 23rd was my first post and May 13th is my 100th - I guess I have been a pretty prolific poster. I'm not sure how many of my readers (and listeners) will celebrate this milestone - but I know at least I will - and that's all that matters.

For my 100th post I chose one of my all time favorite love songs - this one from Aandhi.

The lyrics by Gulzar the music by R. D. Burman and the voices of Lata and Kishore - wah :D

aandhi ki tarah udhkar ik raah guzarti hai
sharmati huwi koi kadmon se utarti hai
in reshmi raahon mein ek raah to woh hogi
tum tak jo pohunchti hai is more se jaati hai :)

Main Na Bhooloonga - Roti Kapda Aur Makaan (1974)

Posted by Nerdyy

This movie had many great songs - one of them Haye Haye Yeh Majboori has already been posted. This one, though less popular, is absolutely beautiful :)

barasta saawan ho mehekta aangan ho
kabhi dil dulha ho kabhi dil dulhan ho
gagan bankar jhoome pawan bankar ghoome
chalo raahein modey kabhi na sang chhorey
kahin pe chhup jaana hai nazar nehin aana hai
kahin pe bas jayenge yeh din kat jayenge
arre kya baat chali woh dekho raat dhali
yeh baatein chalti rahen yeh raatein dhalti rahen
main man ko mandir kar daaloon tu pujan banja
mandir se puja ka rishta main na bhooloonga :)

Like I often say, sometimes the deepest feelings can be expressed by the simplest words :) Beautiful song :P

(This is my best friend IQ's fav song - well I admit I didn't like this song until recently when I listened to it carefully again..... primarily coz  I wasn't inclined (until recently) to listen to such songs :P ).

tujhko jo paaya to jeena aaya
ab yeh lamha theher jayen tham jayen bas jayen
hum dono ke darmiyaan :D

Ek Haseen Nigaah Ka - Maya Memsaab (1993)

Posted by Nerdyy

Based on Flaubert's Madame Bovary, this very interesting movie had Shah Rukh Khan in one of his earliest roles. The music by Hridayanath Mangeshkar was very good - as was this song.

ek haseen nigah ka dil pe saaya hai
jadoo hai junoon hai yeh kaisi maya hai :)

Tera Saath Hai Kitna Pyara - Jaanbaaz (1986)

Posted by Nerdyy

There have been commutes to and from work when this is the ONLY song I've heard over and over and over :D. The last great song from the Kishore Kumar and Kalyanji Anandji collaboration spanning 16 years.

tera saath hai kitna pyara kam lagta hai jeevan saara
tere milan ki lagan mein humme aana parega duniya mein dobara
main ne tan man tujhpe vaara pyaas bujhi na karke nazaara
tere milan ki lagan mein humme aana parega duniya mein dobara

pyar ke ek ek pal pe hai sau jeevan kurbaan
pyar kabhi marta nehin marte hia insaan
naam usika jeevan hai jo tere saath guzara :D

O Mere Dil Ke Chain - Mere Jeevan Saathi (1972)

Posted by Nerdyy

One of the biggest hits of 1972-1973, and what a romantic song :D - Rajesh Khaana Kishore Kumar and R. D. Burman create pure magic with this.

aap ka aarman aap ka naam mera tarana aur nehin
in jhukti palkon ke siwa dil ka thikana aur nahin
jachta hi nahin anhon me koi
dil tumko hi chahe to kya kijiye

yun to akela bhi aksar gir ke sambhal sakta hoon main
tum jo pakarh lo haath mera duniya badal sakta hoon main :D

My Two Friday Dinner Companions

Posted by Nerdyy

Well - there were real human companions also, but these were my two liquid saathis :D

Just in case you didn't know it, I absolutely LOVE Belgian beers and also have started loving Belgian styled American IPAs - I will post my experiences with American craft beers someday. Both of the above beers are exceptional - Delirium Tremens is a Belgian strong pale ale with hints of orange and banana and somewhat malty but also just a hint of acid. Urthel Saisonniere is a Belgian farmhouse ale that is grassy lemony and grapefruity :D. Both were excellent with dinner.

Saturday Sports Update

Posted by Nerdyy

It's time for the weekly sports update :D - I should rephrase that as weekly NHL update coz right now hockey is the only sport I'm following (even though the Chicago Bulls are in the NBA playoffs and doing decently for now).

As expected the Blackhawks disposed off the Minnesota Wild in 5 games (4-1) and now await either the San Jose Sharks (I had previously referred to them as the punks) who swept the Vancouver Canucks in 4 games, or the Detroit Red Wings (our mortal enemies) who are tied 3-3 with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks with game 7 in a couple of days. Either way it should be a fun series. Also the Toronto Maple Leafs came back to beat the Boston Bruins in Boston yesterday, thus making the series interesting at 2-3. Game 6 is in Toronto in a couple of days :D

Na Jiya Lage Na - Anand (1971)

Posted by Nerdyy

This song kind of got lost among the other Anand songs - bit it is very beautiful in its own right. Based on Raag Malgunji - this song was originally composed as a Bengali song with remarkably similar words :D

tum agar jao kabhi jao kahin
waqt se kehna zara woh theher jayen wahi
woh ghadi wahi ruke naa jayen na :)

the bengali version .....

Roop Tera Mastana - Aradhana (1969)

THE classic rain song in the sense that the rain is never actually shown - you just hear it in the background and have an idea of the wet clothes - but its the mood in the room that is important - and oh what a mood :P. What could be a more fitting end to a rain song series than this one :P

Posted by Nerdyy

The idea of posting wet rain songs has been in my head all day since it was raining all evening yesterday and it was kinda cold and rainy today, and it is such a classic Bollywood song genre :P. Of course any such exercise would be incomplete without the numero uno of all rain songs - Raj Kapoor and Nargis under one umbrella WAH! - so this is the first barsaat song of the evening.

pyar hua ikraar hua hai pyar se fir kyon darta hai dil
kehta hai dil rasta mushkil maloom nehin hai kahan manzil :D
