Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein Tujhko Bithakar - Brahmachari (1968)

July 31st 1980 marked the passing of Mohd. Rafi one of the greatest playback singers of all time. The theme of this week then is Mohd Rafi songs - we will be listening to some of his more popular songs :D

Also since there has been so much talk and laughter about my typo of a critical word in the line (from the song) "tu mile dil khile"  and making it seem very very pervy, I decided to dedicate the posts of today to the word "dil" :P

The first song is simply superbly tuned by Shankar Jaikishan - this song won the filmfare award for Rafi, right before the Aradhana craze took over about a year later and Rafi almost disappeared.
