After a long day today driving back home I was listening to this song - and I kept getting reminded about why I had started posting these types of songs on the blog - it makes me dance in the car :D. The music is by Rajesh Roshan (and yes if the name seems familiar - he is Hritik Roshan's uncle, for those familiar with old time music directors he is the son of Roshan)

Yes it has my first crush Tina Munim looking gorgeous as always; but what lyrics, what a composition and beautifully sung. This song truly brings out the wondrous joy of conversations with a friend :)

suniye kahiye kahiye suniye kehte sunte
baaton baaton mein pyar ho jayega

yeh pehli nazar ka uff kya asar hai
tumhari kasam dagmagayen se hum hai
nehin jispe kaboo yeh hai kaisa jadoo
mere liye to sach bhi bharam hai

ghata chand bijlee barkha pawan mein
shamil ho tum meri har kalpana mein
tareef meri itni karo na
udhne lagoon main kahin asmaan mein

tumhari ada hai woh sabse judaa hai
chaha hai tumko isi waastey
hum bekhabar hai tum besabar ho
uspe hain dekho naye raaste
