Calendar Palindrome!

So here we are, a palindromic date that we can all agree on. The last time something similar happened was 11 02 2011, and it was only relevant for the US, Canada, and a few other countries! Now that I am thinking about it, this was the only memorable thing that I can remember from 2011 eh? Given, of course, that I've been told that memories should be shelved and not recalled!
