Watching the TV adaptation of Big Little Lies, I was (as always) struck by how badly visuals are able to keep plot twists a secret (I was easily able to pick out the two more interesting plot twists well before the halfway mark of the series!). While I haven't read the book, I am pretty sure that words are a much better vehicle at keeping a mystery; primarily because it is easy to wrap plot twists and hide them around nuanced words and sentences.

However, the series did have a kick ass soundtrack; and this song that ended the series is a beautifully arranged version of a timeless Stones classic (and a great message for all of us!).
