Stanley Cup Finals - Blackhawks versus Bruins

Yes yes - I'm out of town in damp and cold Paris right now - but I love the cooler weather - it was very very hot the last few days :D .... and yes as the old saying goes "You can take the boy outta the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto outta the boy" i.e. I'm very much keeping up with my beloved Blackhawks. So - the conference championships are over - what was interesting in this years conference finals is that the four representatives (two each in the Eastern and Western conferences) were the last four winners of the Stanley Cup - interesting eh?

Nevertheless in the Eastern Conference Final, the Boston Bruins thrashed the Pittsburgh Penguins in a 4 game sweep of the best of seven series. In the Western Conference Final, after a hard fought double overtime win yesterday, the Blackhawks beat the defending champs the LA Kings 4-1 in their best of seven series.

The Stanley Cup starts Wednesday night - GOOOOOO BLACKHAWKSSSSSSSSSSSS
