Wonder of wonders - R D Burman composing music for a Raj Kapoor film (albeit directed by Randhir Kapoor, a clos e friend of RD - hence that would explain it) and getting Mukesh to sing what is to many the quintessential Raj Kapoor song. Wonderful philosophical lyrics it speaks about leaving behind your life's work for others to savor.

yeh birha yeh doori do pal ki majboori
phir koi dilwaala kahe ko ghabrayen

    I remember my Gramps reciting this song over and over when I was a kid :) :)
