This song was the surprise hit of 1979 - but you have to listen to it multiple times - it really grows on you especially the lyrics and the two male voices. Laxmikant Pyarelals music is kinda unobtrusive and OK.

The song is about the vagaries of relationships, and how things can change in an instant. We have all been through times when someone just ups and leaves and you are left scratching your head or on a more positive note some seemingly innocuous words or actions with someone who was a total stranger minutes ago leads to meaningful and wonderfully deep and emotional friendships. This song is for all of us that share these painful and happy memories :D
