R. D. Burman was famous for his western influenced music and orchestration, but he has a rather impressive collection of Hindustani Classical based songs. This song beautifully sung by Asha is from the movie Khubsoorat and is based on Raag Bihagda (apparently a combination of bihag and khamaj) - but Miss LMK can enlighten us more on this :P
